What is Manuka honey?
Manuka has an antibacterial component that sets it apart from other honeys. Manuka honey comes predominantly from the Leptospermum species of plant, which impart the honey with very high levels of a naturally occurring compound known as methylgloxal (MGO). This MGO has been scientifically shown to be the major contributor to Manuka honey’s powerful antimicrobial activity and is attributed to many health benefits.

Rich and complex in flavor, this distinct honey comes from pollutant free, unspoilt coastal areas of the Eastern seaboard of Australia. It is also an antioxidant that can help to increase vitality and immunity.
How do I use Manuka honey?
Take 1-2 teaspoons of honey (10g) up to 4 times daily to take advantage of its many health benefits. Alternatively, you can use Manuka as a general sweetener on your muesli, in your cooking or as a spread on your toast.
What is Manuka honey used for?
