  2. Is Oz Farm a complete meal replacement?

    Some Oz Farm products are complete nutritional products including Infant’s formulations and Kid’s Care (for children 1-10). 
Other products in our range including HealthCare and Pregnancy Formula are supplementary enhanced nutritional drinks.

  3. What is infant formula?

    Infant formula is an alternative for breast milk. It is formulated to be a nutritionally complete substitute to support the growth and development of infants under 6 months of age, especially when infants are not breastfed.
    Follow-on formula is an infant formula for infants aged 6 to 12 months. Specially formulated to meet the growing nutritional requirements and to complement the introduction of solids. It is nutritionally complete and provides key nutrients, needed for growing and developing infants.

  4. What are the ingredients in infant formula?

    All infant formula products have to comply with strict standards set by Food Standards Australia and New Zealand (FSANZ).

    Most formulas are based on cow’s milk, and enhanced with a formulation to be a close substitute to breast milk.

    Infant formulas also have a blend of essential fatty acids, vitamins and minerals, and prebiotics to support healthy gut bacteria and digestion.

  5. What is the Pregnancy Formula?

    OzFarm’S Pregnancy Formula is specially formulated to maintain good health of expectant mums while providing crucial nutrition for the developing baby. Formulation includes essential fatty acids, prebiotics, vitamins and minerals including folic acid. 
Pregnant Formula is helpful for women with morning sickness and indigestion. A great alternative for taking large tablets and capsule formulas.

    • How long can Oz Farm drinks be kept once prepared?

      Unfinished drink must be disposed immediately. Prepared formula can be stored in the fridge for a day.

    • What is the shelf life of Oz Farm once it has been opened?

      One month at ambient temperature, no need to refrigerate.

    • My powder smells a little fishy is it OK to use?

      Yes, because it has DHA (from fish oil).

  8. Can mothers with gestational diabetes drink Pregnant Mother Formula?

    Pregnant Mother Formula, has a GI of only 29. Mothers with gestational diabetes should ask their doctor for advice regarding this product.

  9. If a pregnant women is taking multi vitamins, can she take Pregnant Mother Formula at the same time?

    Please check the RDI on Pregnant Mother label. For example, Vitamin C is already 100% RDI, therefore there is no need to take extra Vit C; Folate is 33% of the recommended daily intake (RDI).

  10. I have diabetes - is Health Care product ok to drink?

    Health Care has low GI of 40. It is always best to check with your doctor for advice.
